Tournament Leaderboard (TLB) Details
Party Poker is the second largest online poker room in the world in terms of both ring game and tournament traffic. This makes their TLB promotion a well coveted title amongst online tournament professionals.
Players receive points each time the finish in the top 20% of the field in a Multi Table Tournament. The points earned are based on buy-in, number of entries and finish position.
Weekly Prize: The top point earner each week will play in the Clash of the Titans Tournament. This tournament is a $1,000 heads up freeroll match between the current point leader and last weeks winner. Some players have won the TLB in the past and then went on runs to win several of these in a row, pocketing $1,000 in cash each time.
Monthly Prize: Each month the Top 100 TLB point earners compete in a $5,000 freeroll.
How points are earned: The top 20% of the field receives points based on the following format.
15* {SQRT [(SQRT (B))*(N-6)/R]}
Where 15 = Base points
B = Buy-in of a tournament
N = Total number of players in a tournament
R = Rank of the player in a tournament
Please note: You don’t need to be a math genius to compete in the TLB a lot of players are competing in this without understanding the match involved. Basically the larger the field and higher the buy in the more the points are that get awarded. How well you finish determines the points earned.
