Review of the OnGame Poker Network – Also Known as BWIN
The OnGame Network does not accept USA Players.
A while back the OnGame Network changed its name to the BWIN Poker Network. It is highly unlikely this name catches on. Players are so used to calling this Network OnGame we doubt many will start calling it BWIN. Imagine if you were told to start calling Ketchup BWIN, because the name had been changed?
“What would you like on your hotdog?”
“BWIN and Mustard Please”
Through out our site we will continue to call this Network OnGame but will also put a few BWIN reference to keep the big guys happy.
OnGame Specifics Reviewed
Software: This software at one time was the only option for Mac and Linux players. This Network offers its games in both a full download and No Download (browser based) version. The software is simply put “okay”. All the advanced features are in place however the graphics on some sites are not very attractive. Also the action timers and closeness of pre-selection buttons make playing a lot of simultaneous table a bit difficult. Other than that all the standard bells and whistles are in place and a lot of regulars grow to love the software.
Ring Game Traffic: The OnGame Network has great traffic (phenomenal considering they don’t accept USA players) with 4,000+ simultaneous players during peak hours.
Tournament Traffic: The tournament traffic is an awesome 20,000+ simultaneous players during peak hours.
Game Variety: Most OnGame sites offer Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo and 5 Card Draw.
Sign up Bonus: As far as we know all sites offer their own sign up bonus.
Promotions: The OnGame Network runs lots of network wide promotions including tournament freerolls, EPT qualifiers and Bad Beat Jack Pots.
Customer Support: Some sites offer their own customer support. Generally speaking the live chat support is decent quality at the various skins while the email support leaves a lot to be desired.
