A new poker site has been added to the Cake Poker Network called Power Poker which is endorsed by Finnish poker sensation Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies.

Online poker superstar Ilari Sahamies is most known by his online screen name ‘Ziigmund’. A name he has been using for years competing at the highest stakes of poker the world has to offer. Ziigmund has also been appearing on poker television shows, GSN’s High Stakes Poker and NBC’s Poker After Dark. Other appearances have been on WSOP Europe and European Poker Tour film.
Ziigmund has gained an incredible amount of publicity from being a very exciting and aggressive player to watch with a very high variance. He is one of the worlds best Pot Limit Omaha players and in 2008 alone he dominated the tables winning over $1.5 million on Full Tilt Poker alone. Another aspect of Ziigmund that made him a fan favourite was his crude comments in the online chat rooms. He has called Gus Hansen the “biggest fish online” and even once called David Benyamine, “a fat gay guy”.
Coming from Finland Ziigmund learned from the world famous Finish poker player Patrik Antonius. Ziigmund met Antonius in a pool hall and the two of them worked on their poker game together. It’s assumed that they shared their skill sets with Ziigmund being a two time national champion in pool.
