Tom Dwan Signing With Full Tilt Poker Says Phil IveyTom ‘durrrr’ Dwan is the most famous poker player that does not endorse any poker room, although the information that is coming out is pointing in the direction that he will be soon signing with Full Tilt Poker.

The sponsorship is conveniently getting done just in time for the television recordings of the $500,000 live durrrr challenges taking place in London.

A couple of weeks ago Howard Lederer, a part owner and sponsored player of Full Tilt Poker was quoted saying the following comments:

“I’m sure that Full Tilt would love to have him.”
“I think its just a matter of Full Tilt and Durrrr working it out, and working out a fair price.”
“I don’t think there’s anything in the way of that happening, except for both sides deciding to make it happen.”
“Obviously Durrrr is an enormously talented player, one of these days it would be great if he were representing the site.”

It seems that these comments helped push both sides into making something happen as today Phil Ivey had the following facebook status:

“You heard it first from Team Ivey, Full Tilt Poker will soon announce a big sponsorship signing of the best of the best, young online phenom, Tom ‘Durrrr’ Dwan. Durrrr will be the latest addition to Team Full Tilt, details to come. Check twitter for latest updates.”

Signing with Full Tilt makes perfect sense for Dwan, as it is the only online poker site that hosts the high stakes action that he is interested in. Dwan is a regular in all games above $200/$400 No Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha. He also uses Full Tilt to carry out his action on the Durrr Challenge.

Full Tilt Poker is the second largest online poker room and has the most impressive team of players including: Howard Lederer, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman, Phil Gordon, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Andy Bloch, Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen, Allen Cunningham and Patrik Antonius. They also sponsor all the CardRunners team, Hendon Mob, and several other professionals.
