Several months ago a prop bet was made between high stakes poker players Theo Jorgensen and Full Tilt Pro Gus Hansen after Jorgensen said Hansen looked spastic after he celebrated with boxing moves after winning a Squash match. This progressed into a three round boxing match prop bet with Hansen laying $35,000 to Jorgensen’s $25,000.
The fight took place on last Saturday afternoon at noon mountain time. Hansen was suited up with black trunks and blue headgear while Jorgensen was dressed with black white striped shorts and black headgear. The two poker players trained before the match and Hansen hired Olympic medalist Johnne De Lima, although, it still wasn’t enough to over come Jorgensen.
There was no knock outs and the fight went to a decision with Theo Jorgensen winning after the three judges gave him two out of the three rounds. Jorgensen celebrated as much as he could as he was still very out of breath after the fight, although he was still pumped to take $35,000 from Gus Hansen.
