Last Sunday afternoon was a very special day for the players and owners of PKR.com as they reached the 10,000 simultaneous player milestone for the first time. This is an amazing accomplishment considering their poker room has been in business for less than 18 months.
One major factor in PKR’s success is their unique software which uses the latest in 3D rendering technologies to offer a life like gaming experience. This is a feature the new generation of poker players have embraced. Brian Bellows, a die hard PKR.com player from eastern Canada, had this to say about PKR.com, “Playing poker on PKR is great, the graphics and game play is so life like. My friends and I all love playing there. I’m only 23 years old and my other friends are the same age. I think younger players like myself, really appreciate the high quality graphics and game play.”
2007 was an amazing year for PKR but their success did not come without obstacles and critics. Despite the fact that other 3D poker rooms had failed miserably; prior to the launch of their product, PKR was able to organize a large handful of affiliates to promote them in advanced throughout North American.
Devastating to PKR and their affiliates who had worked so hard to market this soon to launch 3D poker room was the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. This new law eventually prevented PKR from ever offering services to American players. While such a set back would of spelled doom for most upstart poker rooms, PKR pulled through it. The company immediately began pushing their product globally and along the way translated their website and marketing materials into dozens of languages.
While many believed PKR would fail, these critics have been silences as PKR has now become one of the top online poker rooms to have launched after the initial poker boom (pre 2002). . We are poker-prop.net would like to congratulate PKR on their accomplishments and send our best wishes of a prosperous 2008 and beyond.

Brian Bellows is the worst player I’ve ever played with. He just lies down like a broad, and talks like he’s a superstar.
