Police and the Organized Crime Section Illegal Gambling Unit have been launching raids targeting private poker games in Toronto this last week and at least four raids have taken place. As it stands right now there are nearly 50 people with pending charges. The raids were described as business and not personal homes. Read the Full Story Here

Popular online poker site Full Tilt poker has released the official dates and tournament times of the third Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) of 2008. FTOPS IX has a guarantee of $15 million to be paid out in prize money, including a main event that is guarantying $2.5 million with a $535 buy-in.
