The National Heads Up Championship first round matches have been drawn and announced at the late night party at Caesars Palace in the club named ‘Pure’. There is a total of 64 high profile players and a couple of players that have won a seat via casino and online poker promotions.
World Series of Poker Main Event second place finisher in 2008 Ivan Demidov was unable to attend after he encountered visa issues at United States customs. Demidov’s seat was given to team PokerStars member Hevad Khan.
The first bracket will begin playing at 12:15 Las Vegas time today and the remaining brackets will be played out on Saturday. The final three rounds of finals will be played out on Sunday.
