Full Tilt Poker announced this week that the third installment of the hugely successful Million Dollar Cash Game will be taped on September 17th and 18th 2008 in London England. The minimum buy-in will be £100,000 (approx $180,000 USD), in last years game the world was treated to the largest ever televised pot (at the time) $807,400 when Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius got into a bit of a mix-up on the green felt.
To date many of the worlds most formidable high stakes players have already signed up to play including Phil Ivey, Chris “Jesus” Ferguson, Phil Hellmuth Jr., Patrik Antonius, Gus Hansen, Eli Elezra, Tom “Durrr” Dwan, Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, Erick Lindgren, Andy Bloch, Allen Cunningham, and Tony “G”. As of right now both Doyle “Texas Dolly” Brunson and nose bleed specialist David Benyamine are listed as likely participants.
This is the second year of a three year contract for the show to be produced by Emblaze Productions, and is once again sponsored by Full Tilt Poker. Emblaze Managing Director and Founder James Hopkins stated that the third installment of this much awaited game will air on Sky Sports in January 2009.
