Ladbrokes Poker is preparing to deal their one-billionth hand and to celebrate this milestone they’ll be giving away $300,000 worth of WSOP* prizes. In all honestly, this is perhaps the best chance most players will ever get to freeroll their way into the Main Event.
The company decided to do this different than the typical lottery style rewards system, where only players lucky enough to have randomly been sitting at a certain table are rewarded. In this promotion all those that helped Ladbrokes reach the 1 billion hand milestone will be rewarded with a chance to participate in a $300,000 freeroll, provided they’ve also earned 50 poker points on the day the billionth hand is dealt.
The Billionth Hand Freeroll will be held on the first Saturday that is at least 48 hours after the billionth hand is played. The top 20 finishers in this tournament will be issued a $14,000 Main Event Prize Package which includes the $10,000 buy-in plus airfare and accommodations. Two hundred runners up will receive a $109 buy-in to a Ladbrokes Main Event second chance qualifier.
