Ladbrokes 1 billionth hand WSOP FreerollPopular UK based poker room Ladbrokes Poker dealt their one billionth poker hand this morning, leaving poker players scrambling to beat the clock towards qualifying for the highest value freeroll in company history.

This billionth hand celebration was announced a couple weeks ago, and now that the dates are clear we’ll explain it here in details.

All player earning 50 Labdrokes poker points on June 14, 2008 (0:01 to 24:00 UK time) will be invited to play a freeroll that takes place on 16th June:

  • The top 20 finishers will get the chance to join Team Ladbrokes at the world’s largest tournament by winning a $14,000 Ladbrokes WSOP Package.
  • Two Hundred runners up will get a second chance to join Team Ladbrokes at this years WSOP by winning $109 Ladbrokes WSOP Daily Final seats. This final will be held on June 17th.

While this is short notice earning 50 poker points at Ladbrokes is easy. This can be accomplished by raking just $2.00 at a No Limit table or by paying $2.50 in tournament fees. For example a $30+$3 SNG would be enough to earn a player the required points.
