Full Tilt has released the schedule for the second installment of their online poker series which consists of poker tournaments of all varieties with expensive buy-ins and extremely large guaranteed prize pools.
The 25 tournament series begins on May 6th and will run until May 17th. The total guaranteed prize pool of all the tournaments combined is nearly $17 million. The main event of the FTOPS XII is a two day event that carries a $535 buy-in with a $2.5 million guaranteed prize pool.
This series will have a new perk for players, and it is being called ‘MiniFTOPS’. There will be miniature tournaments mixed in with the major tournaments to support poker players with smaller bankrolls. The MiniFTOPS events will take place 5 minutes after the regular FTOPS tournaments and will consist of the same game and blind structure. These tournaments will also have one tenth of the regular buy-in for the main FTOPS tournaments. The most expensive tournament is a $50 buy-in and the lowest is a $10 buy-in.
As like all the past 11 series Full Tilt will have one of their pro’s hosting the events and nearly the entire Red Pro list buys in for the tournaments. Not only will players get to play with professionals they will also have the ability to freeroll and satellite their way into events for a fraction of the cost.
