Everest Poker announces their Live The Dream prize package winners.

Everest Poker, the official sponsor of the 2008 WSOP, has chosen ten online players to represent their website over the next year at a variety of live poker events around the globe.
The ‘ Live The Dream’ promotion has been running since October. Two hundred finalists were selected to audition for a chance to be an Everest Poker spokesperson and represent the site at this years major poker events.

The 200 Finalists were individually interviewed and assessed based on Online Poker Skill (20 points), Live Poker Skill (20 points), Personality (15 points), Everest Poker Knowledge (15 points), Blogging Skills (10 points), Speaking Skills (10 points) and Internet Voting (10 points). Each of the 200 finalists were given a ‘ Live The Dream’ web page which the public could vote on, making up for 10% of the possible 100 points to be awarded.

After two days of interviews and countless hours of deliberation, ten players have been awarded a $100,000 prize package which includes the following:

* European Poker Tour Season 4 Grand Final seat ($13,000 buy-in)
* World Series of Poker Main Event ($10,000 buy-in)
* Two World Series of Poker side events (two $2,500 buy-ins)
* Two World Poker Tour Season 7 events (two $15,000 buy-ins)
* Two European Poker Tour Season 5 events (two $10,500 buy-ins)
* $21,000 in cash for expenses

Of course, Everest didn’t forget those who almost made it. They so kindly gave a surprise bonus package worth $3,500 to those (Top 20) who survived the first day of deliberation, but did not rank in the final 10.
