A very short session occured early yesterday morning between challenger Patrik Antonius and Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan, which was the 16th session of the Million Dollar durrrr Challenge.
Coming into the session 16, Antonius held the overall lead by $61,413 and throughout the short session he was able to add $23,131.50 in 165 hands played over 28 minutes.
This makes for the second straight win for Antonius, and durrrr no longer appears to be the heavy favourite he was once assumed to be. Antonius has to feel he’s getting great off the $500,000 he put up against durrrr’s $1.5 million. This is especially true considering how the first quarter of the challenge has played out.
Final Stats of Session 16 of the Durrrr Challenge:
Table 1) TD -$24,802.50 PA +$24,794.00 47 hands
Table 2) TD +$44,993.50 PA -$45,000.50 38 hands
Table 3) TD +$30,047.00 PA -$30,055.50 40 hands

This now puts the Antonius in the overall lead by $84,544.50 with a total of 12,108 hands played out of the 50,000 total. Throughout the 12,108 hands the two high-stakes gurus have wagered over $70 million with durrrr winning nearly 1,000 more hands than Antonius.
