Durrr wins biggest pot in poker history

The largest pot in online poker history has been broken once again for the third time in recent week. This time it was a $617,968.50 pot played between Tom Dawn, known better in the poker community but his handle Durrr and his opponent LarsLuzak. The hand ended with Durrr making a sick all in call for his remain $200K with just two pair.

Durrr is an online poker player who has made quite the name for himself over the past couple of years. His 20007 and 2008 career winnings online at Full Tilt Poker are over 4.6 million dollars making him the 3rd winningest player during that period. He currently trails only Phil Ivey who was 8.8 million and David Benyamine who has won 5.5 million.

Durr is no stranger to big pots. Last month on a day in which the now second largest pot in online poker history ($609,730) was played between Guy LaLiberte (Patatino) and high stakes phenom Hac Dang (trex313) he also played the now third largest pot in online poker history. Unfortunately for Durrr he was on the losing side of that particular $521,929 pot when his flopped set of jacks were cracked by when a queen fell on the river completing his opponent Hac Dang’s set of queens.

Durrr got himself redemption on Saturday when he took down the following pot:
