Patrik Antonius and Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan continued to spar taking small wins off each other over the 13 sessions of the Durrrr Challenge. Once again, there was no major swing and session 13 was won by durrrr. Although, he only caught up $1,430.50 on his deficit to Antonius.
Coming into Session 13 durrrr was behind $80,708 after the two pro’s put in a solid 2,043 hand outing that took place last night and the long play continued today after they called it quits over another 890 hand session.
I believe it is safe to assume that we will be seeing more action in the durrrr challenge since Antonius quietly called out Dwan saying that it is his fault for how little action has taken place on the challenge. You can listen to the interview on the Full Tilt Poker website in the durrrr challenge section.
Even though the amount of money exchanged was only $1,430.50, which is merely 3.5 big blinds, there was still a couple big pots including a $292,000 pot. The hand developed when durrrr flopped a big straight draw with nut flush draw and Antonius held top set. The river suited durrrr’s flush draw without pairing the board, and he scooped the pot of the night.
