Durrr Challenge Session 15Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan and Patrik Antonius took time away from their Easter weekend to get some hands in for the durrrr challenge making it the third session of the weekend and the 15th session to date.

Coming into last night durrrr held the overall lead in the challenge by $78,062. This is by no means a huge lead considering the players have played a total of 10,977 hands at nose bleed limits of pot limit Omaha. However, last nights session Antonius not only eliminated durrrr’s leads but he also gained an overall lead of challenged by winning $141,834.50 from durrrr.

Session 15 lasted for 3 hours and 12 minutes for a total of 966 hands. Dwan was able to profit on two tables for over $31,000. Although, Antonius was able to clean up on table one where he took $162,200.50.

Final Stats of Session 15 of the Durrrr Challenge:

Table 1) TD -$162,257.00 PA +$162,200.50 238 hands
Table 2) TD +$4,623.00 PA -$4,675.00 242 hands
Table 3) TD +$27,926.50 PA -$27,980.00 253 hands
Table 4) TD -$12,341.00 PA +$12,289.00 233 hands
192 minutes 966 hands
Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan -$142,048.50 Patrik Antonius +$141,834.50

Patrik Antonius regains the lead of the overall challenge with this session and is now ahead $61,413. The two high stake professionals have now played a total of 38 hours and 23 minutes over 11,943 hands. This wraps up an excellent week of the durrrr challenge as both players are finally getting into the challenge.

A reason for the increased play may be due to the pressure of the fans following the challenge about picking up the pace and durrrr finally showing profit in 2009. During one point this year, durrr was down over $4 million. With durrr now being in the black, I’m sure he can feel more comfortable playing long sessions with Antonius without having to worry about playing the more juicy high stakes games that are running the same time.
