carlos pokerOn December 26th iPoker Network stated that they will be removing Carlos Poker and NoIQ Poker, and it wasn’t announced until today that Carlos Poker would be joining the Microgaming network. NoIQ Poker announced on January 6th that they joined the Entraction network and the entire move was flawless.

Ipoker had given NoIQ and Carlos Poker until January 24th to be completely removed from their network, and it appears that Carlos Poker will be using the remaining days up until the 24th to ensure the move is as flawless as NoIQ Poker’s was. At this moment, Carlos Poker is still allowed and is operating on the iPoker Network and has stated once again they do not offer rakeback to their players, according to Nils Anden who is the head of poker for Unibet and Carlos Poker.

Anden also had this to say, “Since most of our players already have had great experiences with Microgaming, we expect the transition to be smooth. As a company, we also have great respect for Microgaming and we admire their innovation, professionalism, and forward thinking. We are confident that our players will greatly enjoy the fast-paced game play, great tournament offering, and exciting developments of the network during 2009.”

If you are not aware, Carlos Poker is owned by Unibet and is operated under Global Entertainment Antigua Limited. This move puts both companies poker rooms, Unibet and Carlos Poker under one roof.
