Betsafe Joins OnGame Poker NetworkSince the CryptoLogic network is shedding their products the poker skins on that network are migrating to new poker networks across the internet. There are several choices of networks to join and Betsafe felt that the OnGame Poker Network would better suit their needs.

An email was sent to Betsafe players and affiliates on Monday explaining the move and outlined the changes that would be in place after the move, which took place on February 3rd, 2009.

Betsafe has not allowed players from the United States since the UIGEA was put in place several years ago so there is no loss that the OnGame Poker Network does not allow players from the USA as well. The most notable change for Betsafe will be the increase of player base, which is the 5th largest poker network/site behind PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, iPoker Network and Party Poker. Not only will the Betsafe players notice hundreds more table games and tournaments running, they’ll easily appreciate the much better product that OnGame is.

We feel confident that Betsafe is the right partner for us and we are looking forward to a successful and long lasting partnership. Betsafe has the knowledge and expertise needed and contributes to the liquidity of an interesting customer segment perfectly suited for Ongame Network.” Kevin O’Neal, bwin’s Press Officer.

The OnGame Poker Network is owned by the bwin Interactive Entertainment company who operated several skins on the network including bwinpoker.com, PokerRoom.com and EuroPoker.com. Although, both EuroPoker and PokerRoom have recently been merged under the bwin brand. Other popular sites on the network include: Hollywood Poker, Coral Eurobet, Bet24, Betsson and Redkings.
