Betfair now offering a $100K Guaranteed Weekly TournamentBetfair is making a major push to become one of the worlds best poker rooms. Their software was recently re-hauled from the ground up and the site also holds some of the worlds largest cash games. They’ve recently began sponsoring one of the most high profiled online poker players, Annette_15. Now Betfair is treating their customers with a weekly $100,000 guaranteed tournament which starts this Sunday at 8:30 EST.

This weekly tournament has a fairly steep stakes at $555 is pretty steep, however; Betfair is already running daily satelites to these events. Players can chose to play a two step satellite which has a $5.50 buy-in, or can play a $55 satellite for a direct shot a winning a seat.

In addition to satellites there’s a freeroll series which players can use to gain a seat in the $555 weekly event. This freeroll series step one has runs three times on every weekday (2:00PM, 6:00PM, 11:00PM EST). The top nine players of each freeroll will qualify to play in the weekly $1,850 freeroll. This freeroll will pay out three seats to the Sunday $100K guaranteed tournaments and $200 cash.

There are several other satellites that pay out seats including a $20+2 Raid Re-buy, $25+2.5 super turbo and $20+2 rapid rebuy. Each of these tournaments run Monday through Friday except for the rebuy tournament which is played on Sundays.
