ActionJeff Wins Heads Up Event at Aussie Millions

The quarterfinal, semi-final and final heads up match was played out Saturday afternoon in Melbourne, Australia, at the Aussie Millions. The Heads up Championship was a $5,300 buyin and had a $100,000 first place prize.

The match was set between Jeff “ActionJeff” Garza vs Masaaki Kagawa. The online poker community was a bit shocked when Kagawa, considered to be a heavy underdog, went up 1-0 on fan favorite ActionJeff who has a large online following. This meant Jeff would need to win the next two to win this event and much to the delight of his internet groupies, he did just that.
