The 2009 Aussie Millions is once again held at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia and is one of the largest events that is held outside of the United States. This year the high lights will be the AU$1,000,000 Cash Game and the Main Event which is guarantying AU$2,000,000, which has a buy-in of $10,500 AUD. Other highlighted events will be the two day HORSE event that begins on January 24th and the $5,300 heads up championship, which stars on January 20th.
All the events run from January 4th until the 26th of 2009 with five events non championship events running from the 4-9th. There is also satellites running from the 4th all the way to the last event. The tournament buy-ins are all Australian Dollar and the exchange rate of a AUD to USD is, 1.00AUD = .67 USD.
