The first victim of the final table took place on hand #21 when he put his remaining stack in preflop against Aaron Katz. The players held:

Katz: 3h-8d
Vitch: Qc-9h

The board ran Kc-7c-4h-2h-8s, Vitch was safe on the flop and turn, although the river proved differently with an eight falling, which was enough to eliminate Vitch in 9th place.

Cy Jassinowsky eliminated in 8th place earning $66,599

Hand #64 was action packed and started when Andy Bloch raised from the button and Rob Hollink three betting the pot from the small blind. When the action came back to Tommy Hang he capped it at four bets and Jassinowsky put his remaining stack in. Bloch folded after he saw this madness. The flop came Kc-6d-9c and Hollink folded to Hang’s bet on the flop. Hang showed pocket queens and Jassinowsky showed Ad-2d. He needed an ace, running two’s or back door diamonds. None of that came and Jassinowsky was sent home in 8th place.

Andy Bloch eliminated in 7th place earning $81,968

On hand #84 Andy Bloch put his remaining chips in preflop and received a call from Rob Hollink. The players revealed their hole cards:

Block: Jd-3h
Hollink: 8d-9d

The board ran 10s-Ad-2s-7s-8c, the flop and turn were solid cards for Bloch, however the river was the unlucky card when it gave Hollink a pair of eights. Full Tilt Poker professional Andy Bloch night ended here.

Brock Parker eliminated in 6th place earning $102,460

Parker got all his chips in preflop against Ankenman on hand #110. The players held:

Ankenman: Ah-9s
Parker: Qc-8c

J.C. Tran eliminated in 5th place earning $128,075.

Tran’s last hand was on the 138th hand of the final table. Tran raised and Hollink called before the flop, which came Qs-7s-3s. Hollink lead out and Tran called to see the turn card, which was a King of spades. Hollink bet again and Tran put his remaining stack in. The river hit another King and Hollink showed a jack of spades which made a flush. This was enough to eliminate Tran from the tournament.

Aaron Katz eliminated in 4th place earning $158,813

On hand #161 of the final table Katz put all his chips in preflop against Ankenman’s raise and Hollink also came for the ride. Ankenman and Hollink checked down to the river on a board of 4c-10h-Ad-5h-Js and very suprisenly Ankenman’s queen high was good enough to take down the main pot sending Katz home in fourth place.

Tommy Hang eliminated in 3rd place earning $194,674.

Hang’s final pot came on hand #209 we he raised from the button and was three bet from Hollink on the big blind. Hang called and was all in. The players turned over their cards and they held:

Hollink: Kc-Qs
Hang: 9d-8c

The board ran 7d-8s-3d-Qh-Jd, Hang was pumped with the flop, but when the turn hit a queen it was Hollink’s time for the fist pump. The jack on the river did not help Hang and he was finished in 3rd place.

Rob Hollink beats Ankenman heads up and wins the $10,000 Limit Hold’em World Championship earning $496,931.

The blinds were so big and Ankenman was on a short stack that he ended up getting all his chips in preflop with 10s-7s and Hollink defended with Ac-5d. The board ran 4c-5h-As-3h-Qd and Hollink’s two pair was enough to beak Ankenman’s 10 high. Hollink won his first ever World Series of Poker bracelet and receives a nice pay day. Ankenman received $307,380 for his impressive runner-up finish.
