28 Microgaming Rooms Shut DownOver the past 24 hours, many reports have surfaced through out the poker community of players being unable to sit or use account functions at various Microgaming skins. This nightmare situation became even scarier for players when they were issued the following statement from Microgaming when inquiring about their account difficulties:

“Microgaming announces that it has terminated its software license with Tusk Investment Corporation - with immediate effect, after having received Tusk’s notification of its plans to put the company into liquidation.

Microgaming is presently gathering all facts related to this matter and will provide further announcements as and when information becomes available.”

Further investigation has revealed that Tusk is the license provider to 28 online poker rooms on the Microgaming Network. They are responsible for all aspects of players banking and customer support for these various card rooms.

Microgaming has not issued any statement regarding this matter on their corporate website but they have removed all 28 sites from their list of networked clients.

Poker players with funds at one of the Tusk licensed poker rooms are left powerless, unable to access their funds and forced to just wait for news and updates on this matter.

Not only are poker players left powerless but so are the owners of these various poker skins. In this 2+2 thread, several operators have expressed that they were totally blindsided by this occurrence and have been unable to reach Tusk or Microgaming to find out what it taking place.

The 28 rooms which were affected are as follows: Battlefield Poker, Royal Card Club, Red Nines, Arctic Poker, Raw Poker, Poker.ie, Daily Poker, Flush Draw Poker, Will Bet Poker, Bet Road Poker, Grand Central Poker, Off The Rail Poker, Privy Poker, Berserk Poker, Atomik Poker, Dave’s Poker Room, Hetman Poker, Hot Pepper Poker, Poker Seas, TilttAA Poker, Loose Games Poker, CPT Gaming Poker, Ice Bear Poker, GoHard Poker, Caya Poker, Mr Urban Poker, Poker Sweden, Euro Poker Dream.
