Default 2+2er runs UB blackjack to 35k and gets account locked

I thought this was freaking hilarious:

Get on a hot streak gambling on a game where the house has the advantage and they lock your account and call you a cheater apparently. And being UB thats even funnier.

This happens all the time and trust me I am not a supporter of UB in anyways what so ever, but having account locked for running well at blackjack is a common occurrence at most sites. This is usually just a security check and gets resolved in a day or twos time.

I haven't clicked the link yet, but keep us posted how this goes if you happen to notice.

Locking accounts when people run hot is really policy for most sites?

I wouldn't exactly call it a policy but its occurs pretty regularly. Usually security checks are made to ensure fair play, the players information is verified and then he's allowed to continue.

Its critical for sites with poker rooms to do this because a player could run up a huge balance and then proceed to lose chips in a manner which they are not recoverable (such as legitimately ). If the player was doing anything unethical its best to take a look at it once that balance reaches a certain points.

These locks are triggered by statistical improbabilities and not so much on what the player has one or lost though I'm sure that is a factor.

Casino software is not perfect and can be manipulated, though players with enough skillz to crack casinos in an unethical manner are very likely to be caught. This is one of the reasons the largest and most successful casinos take so damn long to pay. 888 for example, they would gladly pay same day if they could but every cash out is reviewed for protection and it takes them a couple days to pay out regulars and 3-7 days to pay out winners.

This stuff is standard. I don't get to worried about locked accounts as long as its resolved in a reasonable and timely fashion with the correct decision being made.

I never got that email, I just read your blog and I saw that this happened and was like 'man, that's messed up' so I went ahead and fixed that. Anyway, you mind if I have a marketing director come talk to you?" He also offered to give me a free seat in the 200k guaranteed and I told him not to bother because I'm not going to play it. Anyway, account's unlocked now.
