The purpose of this forum is to discuss sports betting strategy. Anything related to bankroll management, betting strategy, system plays or other similar topics is entirely appropriate and great topics for this forum.

Just because you happen to be betting on a certain game, does no mean you should be posting in this forum.

For example posts such as:

I like the Bulldogs to win tonight, what you guys think?

Do not belong in this forum. At the time being, low content posts like this, which also might spark discussion, are suitable for our General Sports Forum.

Posting Picks in this forum is fine so long as you provide a short (or long) write up of why you are betting a certain game. It’s also helpful if you include some stats such as your win/loss + units won/lost records for post you’ve made in this forum, these stats should be season to date:

Your reason for picks doesn’t even need to be sound; we just ask you make an effort. Here’s an example of a basic picks post that would be acceptable.

I’m going with the Red Sox -112 in Tampa tonight. Wakefield has done historically well there through out his career and Jackson is streaky at best and rarely puts together two strong outings in a row. I feel the public is over reacting to Manny Ramirez being listed as questionable and with the Red Sox having plenty of hitters and speed in their line up I suspect they’ll be fine.

My Bet: Red Sox 1.12 units to win 1 unit.
