Euro Finals of Soccer

The Euro Finals is here, finaly - three weeks of worldclass soccer. Oh joy.

I'm gonna bet alot in this periode.

I belive Germany can win the whole thing, so I've placed a small amount on them for the win, odds, around 5.40 (decimal)

Portugal wins their first match I think, and I've got some units on draw in Switzerland - Czech Republic, the highest odds (3-way) 3.10 I think, Czech is a better team, but Switzerland is hosting, so a fair chance for draw in the opening match here.

I'll prob blow 1k these 3 weeks, but it will be alot of fun

by the way, I went silent for two weeks, after steping on a mine. I blew 30% of my br in 20 minutes playing 30/60 fix HU, I don't even know how to play that game, my fucking brain was on overload. Very risky play, but I say its a 60% chanse of this happening.

I def think Germany can win this game and the euro cup. They have such a solid team stars all over, Lahm, Ballack, Klose, and Lehmann anchoring a tough German side. I don't know Austria can muster a win even with the homefield against Croatia though.

I have so much trouble following sports that are not on TV for me.
Burgh how do you manage it?
Is there a cable package I don't know about or place to watch online?

I played soccer really seriously from when I was 3 till 14 but was bread to be an NBA player. Unfortunately after being 5'10 at ten years old, I never grew again so that plan fell short for sure could of had a career in baseball or soccer but felt I had gotten a start so late in baseball and did not see much money in socce I kind of game up when I was 16, sucked because I spent my entire childhood with my father telling me I'd be in the NBA lol.

Anyways point being.. I could get into soccer for sure as a fan if there was a way I could follow it better.

Well, I have comcast and I have the sports tier package with Fox Soccer Channel and Gol TV. They both show live games on Sat. and Sun. Also, ESPN will show a lot of the champions league games. The games are all on here late morning to mid afternoon. I usually follow just the english premier league and Chelsea FC. I do watch some la liga, serie a, and the bundesliga though sometimes. Mostly, champions is league is really exciting cause it is best club teams in Europe competing for the title as the best club team in Europe.

The euro cup will be on ESPN, in full HD I might add. 2 games today one at 11:50 and 2:30. I'm sure there are bigger soccer fans than me though but that is the jist of what you can watch here.

Croatia won 0-1, Germany leads 1-0 to halph time, and they OWN Poland, so the bet looks good. Let's hope for another great second halph.

Im betting Portugal,France and Italy in their next matches.
Also, I'll be betting heavy on Germany against Austria, I got 1.45 on them, and I can't see how they possible can loose, draw is the only scare card, but Germany seems very good.

Ok, I don't know Euro Cup or international soccer or all for the matter but the commentators obviously believe firmly it was an offsides and so did every player on Italy.

How did the Italy player who was behind the goal laying on the line effect the offsides situation? Clearly he was in from of the Dutch player that scored the goal.

Fill me in please, whats the rule on a player down 90% out of bounds behind the goal?

It was no offside.

He did not (the Italian player) have the ref's blessing - you can't just step out over the line and put someone in offside. The goal was good, wp ref.

LOL Germany beating Austria (perhaps you mean croatia) is more a formality. You win. I see this from Port and Spain such flashy players and oh the amazing strikers. Their defense is so shotty, Puyol constantly overcommits himself they are so soft at times. Ronaldo is great player but will try to take over too much as soon as Portugal get out the group stage and they will struggle. And we all know Spain is a bunch of choke artists.

I was very impressed with the Dutch and Germans so far. They have looked excellent.

My bet is Germany against Austria though, I decided after the first matches, that Austria could not win anything, I got 1.45 on Germany against them, so I just picked the match instantly. Tonights game is a litle harder for Germany, but I think they'll win.

I think a draw is a decent bet here. Netherlands can make goals but there defence is pretty mediocre. Thierry Henry hasn't played a great season at Barcelona but is still one of the best strikers out there. When the coach also let's Benzema play, i think the French will score.
Robben from the Netherlands is fit enough to play, but i don't think he wil start. I think both teams wil start very careful, but at the end the French have to put some pressure on the Netherlands.
