Default Thang Luu captures first WSOP Bracelet

Every WSOP since 2005 Thang Luu has had an opportunity to win a bracelet. In 2005 he finished third in a NLHE Event, in 2006 he finished ninth in an event at the time had set an entrants record with a field of 2891 players. Last year he got extremely close in a $2K buy-in Omaha/8 event but would finish runner up behind only Frank O'Dell. Last night would finally be his night as Thang Luu defeated Spencer Lawrence to capture the $243,356 top place prize money and perhaps more importantly his first WSOP bracelet.

Default Re: Thang Luu captures first WSOP Bracelet

This guys is kind of a Maniac. Its interesting how he has 4 WSOP cashes now and all of them are final tables, I wonder how many other events he played. Here is a quote from:

“I like to play every hand. I don’t miss any hands, especially when I am playing heads up. I might check in a few spots. But I play every hand (and try to keep my opponent guessing).”
