POTRIPPER’s Dad wins WSOP Event 11

Phil Tom won his first bracelet last night during Event 11 of the 2008 WSOP which was a $5K buy-in No Limit Holdem Shoot Out tournament. After his victory he admitted to a member of the media that he is the father of Scott Tom, who in case you don’t remember is the former Absolute Poker executive and co-founder believed to have been behind the POTRIPPER account which had access to player’s hole cards.

Nice, did he wear Absolute Poker gear during the event?
My guess is he didn't as obviously they want that to all go away! To bad so many media sources are happy to assist them in helping it all go away.

Man you would have to think if certain players found out who he was during the tournament he would of been hassled throughout the tournament days eh

Actually he mentioned a few times that he bankrolled the Absolute Poker start up and held to Scott Tom not being responsible and the crime having been perpetrated by AJ Green
