Default Grant Hinkle Wins WSOP Event #2 topping Chris Ferguson

Grant Hinkle a 27-year-old marketing manager from Kansas City, MO accomplished the dream of many poker players last night. He managed to win himself a World Series of Poker championship gold championship bracelet along with $831,462 in cash. He was playing his first WSOP event and recently got into poker after seeing his brother Blair Hinkle (known online as ‘blur5f6’) have so much success. He scored himself a deal with Bodog Poker before the final table started and his mother, brother and father all caught a last minute flight to Vegas and watched live as he took down the championship. He was short stacked when the final table began but managed to build a large chip stack when using the advice his brother Blain provided him, which was to be aggressive. On the final hand he had 7 million and his opponent had 5 million chips. He 4 bet his opponent all in on a stone cold bluff tabling ten four suited. He managed to flop a miracle ten ten four and then made quads on the turn. Despite some amazing luck in the end he had truly played solid poker through out the event.

Its amazing how poker runs in the family like this, I always found that to be fascinating.

Mizrachi brothers
Howard Lederer / Annie Duke
Brunsons
Barry Greenstein / Joe Sebok
Men the master / mihn nguyen
etc etc etc

I guess its more learned though then gentic because theres also a lot of good husband wife teams like Katrina and Chip Jett, the Shak-s, and a bunch of others that don't count seeing as they were already poker players when they hooked up.

Interesting anyways, perhaps I need to teach my relatives poker and get myself a poker chick so I can win bracelets too
