Prefers: Texas Hold'em | The title is actually a Gabe Kaplan quote from high stakes poker I believe. Nonetheless, I think pot limit Omaha is becoming the new game. If you plan to be around for a few years in the poker world, you should really get over to the omaha tables and figure out how to play. As the game becomes more popular there will be more and more opportunities to take advantage of new Omaha players, so it's best to learn the game now before it really takes off. Just don't forget, it seems like hold'em with 4 cards and it is, but in reality it is played much differently so don't think that all of the same old holdem tricks will work in this game. |
