Default Ignoring Logical Hand Strength

The last time i made a final table in a big event, I called off my whole stack with k high on the flop and went out in 9th place. I had been playing as good as ever and was really in-tune with things. I don't remember the action so much, it was just very easy to rule out just about every kind of hand, including hands like ace-high.

It made me sick to see that king high was indeed the best hand, but I was notched by the k-10.

Sometimes you just have to go with your gut and in this case I was right. It's just pukable that I could read someone so well and wind just barely notched for all the cheese.

I guess this is more of a b!tch thread than a strategy thread. I know it was a bad call regardless of my feelings, this was years ago and it still makes me sick.
