Is it possible to find a girlfriend in the poker community, or is it a "dying" community? Eh. Well.

And girls. You are not allowed, I mean, cmon, any table is a freeroll for you. You can just pick your favorite and claim the price, can you not? (of course, there are variables here, but let's not get into them)

Man, from my experience I wouldn't want to pick up or bring home any girl that I met in a live poker room. For one I have yet to see a babe and if there is a good looking girl in the room she is usually sitting behind some guy playing poker that is usually wearing a murse (man purse).

Honestly, who does that? Why on earth would anyone bring a girl or a girlfriend to the poker room... so they can watch you lose money, yet to see a solid player let a girl sit behind them.. ugh that is just one of my pet peeves...

Kinda got a little off topic there... but to answer your question no I have yet to hear of any guy picking up a girl from the tables....

I actually think I met my wife at the table. I remember having a bunch of money infront of me...But the table had a large pole sticking up from it...wait a minute, maybe the table was actually a stage.

But no I have never picked up a chick at the table, but I have never tried. Ah, who am I kidding, I would have failed miserably. But I have played with a couple hotties in my day, 2 of them are even regulars in the casino cash game I frequent.

But dont worry Junior, it is not impossible, as I have seen it happen. Well, who knows what happened after they left the card room, but still, he got her to leave with him.

And Aidan, I totally agree with with you about those girls that sit behind their boyfriends/husbands for hours while they play poker. It boggles my mind. What kind of girl would want to do that??? Must be extremely BORED. Once, I saw a girl sit behind her man for 8 hours straight....and didnt say a word the whole time, her guy wouldnt even talk to her...lol

hahahaha yeah! they don't even tend to talk when the dumb chick sits behind them. Are these clowns that bring their lady to the room ashamed to talk to them? But not too ashamed to let them sit behind them. Whata joke.

One of the stories I will never forget is when I was like 18 playing with my friends at a 4/8 Limit DC game...and one of my buddies got runner runner got shotted by this fat chick. He got so mad at her that she started crying. And about 2 months ago I saw this large chick again and took a pic of her and picture messaged him.... he didn't remember though

I usually spend a lot of time talking the the couple at the table, mostly because they start off as the ones that don't talk ad that annoy the hell out of me. I only play at tables where everyone talks, at least 3 other players are drinking alcohol, some smoke cigarettes and at least one show off who used to work there and knows every floor person and dealer like they were his freaking closest family.
I know it sounds like I'm joking but I'm not. I work on being the most liked player at what becomes a loose home game like atmosphere. Its 10x easier to beat the games when peoople go home thinking man I lost $300 tonight but had a lot of fun. Also the that player who knows everyone is key because we need the floor to swear with us. We can't have someone complaining every time someone says fuck
Anyways thats my ideal poker game for sure.
Girl behind the players seats? Sure hwy not, hell I wish more people brought a friend it would make more people to chat with

A poker player once, a dealer once and a waitress once all a long time ago.
The poker chick was older, not real old but this was like 7 or 8 years ago probably when i was 21. Anyways it was cool hanging out with this chick and she's telling me how she was stripper in Vegas but then fell in love with poker and all this stuff. I was right out of a tough break up with my daughters mother. So anyways it was cool at the moment, but then we got a hotel room and i'm thinking man this chick is okay but she's kinda worn out. I mean she might of been 30 only, not sure (not 40 for sure but could of been mid or later 30s) but she looked like someone that spent to much time in cardrooms. Anyways she went into the bathroom shortly after we got the hotel and as she was going in I was like where is there ice and grabbed icebucket. I decided to just make a run for it LOL
No idea what I was thinking at the time running either lol the whole situation was pretty funny the next day when i thought about it. I ran into her a couple weeks later but didn't say anything.
