Default Anyone going to the WSOP?

Well, Im not. hehe. But I'll do some satelites and cosmonauts this mounth and hope to get lucky.

WSOP freeroll, is the biggest freeroll there is.

I wish I was rich, then I'd go instantly. Maybe in 5 years, I'm good enough to take chunk out of my bankroll and take the banana boat over the fjord to United Nations. (lol)

Anyway. Good luck to anyone that goes there.

Yeah, no world series for me either.

I have a hard time adjusting to tournament play and I really just can't wrap my head around not being able to reload. lol

Going down there to play the cash games would be a good time and I'm sure there would be some excellent action. I have several friends heading down there for some events, so I will look at buying some shares in them. Thats as much as I will get involved with this years WSOP.

I am going from June 26th till July 3rd. But if I win enough of satillite chips I will stay for the main event. Full Tilt has their big 150 seat tourney in June and im sure pokerstars will have one on the same day. If I won a seat that way I might use $5000 of it for smaller events and might play in the main event If I did anything in those.

I had been on the fence and because of health reason I was thinking I'll probably skip it but if I felt up to it might want to take a short trip out to play a Non Holdem event (most likely a last minute plan)

With the MSOP at Bodog and Full Tilt I'm kind of thinking I would rather take a shot at these first. If I'm totally 0 for X and have no chance at a leaderboard run by midway in I'll start to consider plans. Right now the idea of winning a 2009 Main Event seat seem like a smarter idea to be and next year I should I'll more than likely play many of the non Hold'em event.

My online ROI in stud tournaments is 320%, in omaha 140% In hold'em 2% pffft lol. I figure I got a lot of work to do on MTT play for Holdem before I stand any chance of having anything but a large miracle shot. In the non holdem games I think I'm within reach of only needing a small miracle. My ROI was much better in hold'em before large field pay out schedules went to hell a few years back (used to be able to make a good ROI finishing in top 5% - now not only are final tables a MUST but top 3's are also required to make a lot there)

I am looking forward to playing the 7card stud hi/low and HORSE events when I am down there. Lots of players play no limit decent now and the other games the fields I might have a better chance of cashing. I just hate the idea of 1 bad beat and im out $1500 or $2000 bucks in those no limit tourneys. At least with HORSE or stud 8 I can lose some big pots and still be in.
