ugh... maybe I just had bad luck in this tournament. After losing the pot in my op, I was down to 500 or so..picked up tens and doubled up. then i didn't play a single hand til this one. what would possess me to limp in with T8o, I dunno..I suppose I felt I'd be able to take a pot away since I'd been playing so tight. at any rate, here's the hand.

Hand #1
I hate early stages of tournaments, I really do. I prefer not even to play them. His overbet is sick there and its so rare to see - he played you perfect though i suppose, maybe luck. I'd have to be there to say for sure, but there is just way to many hand you can beat on hand #1. I think I call and then am making the same post as you asking what others would of done - busting early makes my head spin because its so rare it happens.

Hand #2
This hands fine, but I don't slow play that often short stacks - I can understand doing so, but with a small stack a call often looks stronger than a raise - either way on this hand though same results.

The first hand would rattle me - I would be take the rest of the day off honestly.

I probably can't gat away from the first one either, but that's a typical way a nitwit plays a monster. He raises pre to steal your blind. Everyone in the world now either makes a continuation bets or checks and folds, he check calls. Then he check calls again. Then he makes a monster overbet. That's always either absolutely nothing or a huge hand.

First is probably a puke fold, second is standard given the way you played it. I would rather just raise the turn though.
