Plays at: Pokerstars Prefers: Texas Hold'em | Poker is similar to life in many ways, and dissimilar in alot of ways. One of the things that holds true for both poker and life , is that there are endless ways to improve your life/poker game. But in both cases, most people refrain from doing anything about it. I'll use my self as an example. I'm 28 years old. I could have gotten a higher education, but didnt. I could have worked up money and invested them, but I didnt. I could have tried to get me a nice girl (and keep her) but didnt. Not that I didnt want to, but somewhere in the endless choiches I either did not want it enough or got discouraged and ended up settling with what I had. Poker works the exact same way. There are 1 millions things that could improve your game, and there are 3 million things out there to help you. Would it not be easier if it was 1 thing wrong with your game, and 1 thing to do about it, right? You would fix that shit instantly, but freedom is confusing. So, what am I trying to say? I claim that you can write 10 things that is wrong/can get better in your pokergame, in 5 minutes. And I claim that you can find 10 possible ways to aquire the knowledge to fix those. But humans are lazy, are we not? So write down 1 thing that is wrong with your game. AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Then, write down 1 thing that is wrong with your life, and do something about it. Thats the best advice I can give. (for now ) |
