Prefers: Texas Hold'em | I haven't really gotten into the full tilt matrix tournaments at this point, but ive noticed some interesting nuances in these tournaments. The first is that if you are an aggressive player who tries to conceal the fact that they are a maniac, you are not gonna do very well because you are playing the same people on 4 different tables. They are going to figure you out much sooner in a matrix tourney. Second, if you go on tilt, the players know this on all 4 tables, so tilting can be more hazardous to your health in these tourneys than anywhere else. At the same time, you get to watch your opponents on all 4 tables so you are going to be able to gather much more info and watch your opponents much more. Does anyone have any strategies that they are using to beat these tourneys? I usually take more of a passive style towards these tables when I do play them, the idea being that I can abuse people later even better if I do this. |
