There is serious rumors that Bodog will open their doors to Canadian citizens as of September 1st, 2009. Since the launch of Bodog, they have not allowed Canadian customers due to having certain operations and offices running within Canada. With the Morris Mohawk Gaming Group gaining controlling interest over from founder Calvin Ayre, they have moved all the previous Canadian involvement overseas.

Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan and Patrik Antonius have not played a single hand in over two months until today and yesterday. The way the sessions went for Tom Dwan, he is wishing he didn’t sit down with Antonius for the 25th and 26th sessions of the challenge. Dwan ended up losing his entire lead and then some for a total loss of $802,651. For the overall challenge Dwan is down $76,104 with 22,683 hands out of the 50,000 being played.

The final table will be played out on the November 9th of 2009 and Phil Ivey is one of the nine players that will be participating. Betfair.com has released the odds of the final table, and they are paying out 7.2 to 1 on Phil Ivey to win the bracelet.

He will be having four challengers that will be putting up $500,000 and choosing either No Limit Texas Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha against the 21 year old poker superstar. The heads up battle will last until one of them goes broke or when they reach a total of 500 hands.
