While the rest of the poker world was watching the much anticipated $40,000 World Series of Poker Event, two Las Vegas bartenders were pitted heads up facing off for a World Series of Poker bracelet. What makes there story a bit more interesting is that both players are formerly from New York and have been taking shots between tending bar on the poker circuit for a while now. In the end it was Andrew Cohen who works at The Palms. In his post match interview he was so ecstatic to have won a bracelet he didn’t even have time yet to process what he’ll do with the $83K prize money her just won.
