The prop bet between Gus Hansen and Theo Jorgensen was played out in Denmark and the three round boxing match was broadcasted over Hansen’s new website. The match was quite close and after three rounds it was in the judges hands, and they claimed Jorgensen the winner and he won $35,000 from Hansen.

PokerStars has released the schedule to their first ever Spring Champion of Online Poker (SCOOP), which will take place starting on April 2nd, 2009. This is PokerStars first attempt at a major series other than the World Championships of Online Poker (WCOOP). This series is very innovative as Pokerstars is having three separate tournaments with small, medium and high buy-ins for each event. There will be a total of $30 million guaranteed throughout the SCOOP.
