When your playing a tournament or cash game on Cake, every button is positioned where you expect them to be. The check, bet, fold buttons are positioned in a great spot and are large enough to avoid mis-clicks. There are also pre-advanced play buttons which are positioned well to provide efficiency when muli-tabling. Players on Cake have the option to mute the dealer chat, summary chat, tournament chat and player chat from within the options button. From within the options - display tab players have the ability to adjust game sounds from silent, alerts only or all sounds. With the same tab, players have the option to use four colored deck, display bet amounts, display pot amounts, auto focus window, show animations, show win banner, show avatars and show gold cards.
Within the chat box players can view information about their hand histories, gold card meter, flop seen percentage, average pot of table, and hands per hour. All of this information can be viewed by clicking ‘Info’ above the chat box. Note taking has been taken to the next level on Cake Poker. You have the ability to quickly enter information on how a player players and you can also colour coordinate your opponent. You also have the option on ignoring a certain player on your table. Ignoring a player will avoid their chat messages on your chat window.
